Antique buffet make-over and a mirror gets a face-lift

This was our project this weekend.  Neal and I found both these items at Waldo Antiques picked up the buffet for $165, I've seen these sold online anywhere from $300-$500.

Supplies needed:

Sander
jigsaw (which we rented for a couple hours)
1 can of spray paint for mesh and hardware
can of satin paint
small can of sealer
paint brushes
foam brushes (for sealer)
staple gun
white wax candle

Step 1: Take off all hardware and Sand down entire piece, with a jigsaw cut out inner square of doors.  Then wipe down with clean damp cloth.

Step 2: Run candle on sharp edges or anywhere you don't want the paint to adhere to.

Step 3: Paint entire piece and allow to dry for several hours.  While you wait for it to dry lay out        hardware and mesh piece and spray paint.

Step 4: Take light grit sand paper and rough up edges (antiquing it).

Step 5: Use the foam brush and apply a coat of sealer.

Step 6: Take mesh and staple it behind the opening and put hardware back on.

Here is the mirror I found and cleaned up and added a fresh coat of spray paint to.
